A Grey Day!

The dogs and I met a friend and her dog at the Ferry Point in Dingwall today, purely by chance. We all, dogs and adults, really enjoyed the chance encounter. That is what I love about walking with dogs, you always have an excuse to stand and pass the time of day with people you happen to meet. I remember a good friend once saying that she really envied people with dogs as they always seemed to be standing around chatting to other dog owners, whilst someone walking on their own doesn't, have that opportunity.

The friend I met today said how depressed she felt when she opened her eyes this morning and it was another "grey" day. It might have been a grey morning but just look at what a beautiful late afternoon it turned out to be. You never know what is round the corner.
