Birthday party

A lovely day today. We headed to freshwater for Amelias party. First we went swimming and the twins amazed us all when they decided that today they were going to swim. Erin managed 20 metres on her back unaided and Jack 10 metres. In the last 4 weeks taking them each weekend has really paid off and their confidence has grown with their ability. After the hours swim we went upstairs for food and had a surprise visit from Minnie mouse who had come to give the birthday girl a gift and hand out sweets. Very excited children throughout the restaurant and not just our lot. Once they had eaten the children had a game of 10 pin bowling and inbetween they had glitter tattoos from Snow white!!!! I even got one lol. We all had such a lovely time.

After the party the children were collected by their dad for the rest of the weekend and Paul and I headed back to our homes to get ready for this evening. His band were playing at a pub in Seaton and Ferny and I were going over to be groupies. A great night with a packed pub all enjoying the rock and blues.
