Spent the vast majority of Monday morning in a waiting room attempting to get our residents permit before our three months are up and we get kicked out of the country. We waited for about two hours to be called into the office for all of five minutes before being sent off to the bank to pay €10 for something, and finally returned to the office to be presented with a small scrap of paper which apparently makes us legal. Also then to be told we have to return before we leave the country to give it back... I'm only in Spain for another couple of months, I really shouldn't have bothered. Running the risk of being deported would have been more fun than dealing with the ridiculous Spanish bureaucracy.
