Too busy - and cold - to move today, but Jools and I dragged ourselves out to brave the cold on a 10-km drive to our favourite coffee shop. The bakery assistant helps me choose my lunch - an apple fritter. Jools settled for a coffee, poor thing; but that's what dieting does to a woman . . .
