Elk-Moose
I visited our State Museum today - what a treasure trove! We also have a planetarium, and I would like to explore that, too.
Pictured above is "Cervalces scotti," the Elk-Moose. It became extinct approximately 10,000 years ago, at the end of the last Ice Age. (Do you think he started juicing and starved to death??)
This is the most complete specimen of Cervalces in the world and it was found in New Jersey.
...still juicing, but tomorrow - all bets are off!!
