Stearns

This is Oakland's version of Lowe's or Home Depot. Stearns Hardware, since 1887, now operated by Bill Stearns, a member of Tom's graduating class at Oakland High School. The mantra for many around Oakland is, "If I can't buy it at Stearns, I don't need it."
