Western Scrub Jay

We added to my friend's list of birds seen during her current trip to California. Today we walked in part of O'Neill Park near my sister's house. Among the birds we saw and photographed, mostly from a distance, was the Western Scrub Jay, Acorn Woodpecker, Roadrunner, a "blue" bird, a bird of prey, and possibly a kestrel.

Unfortunately, none of my pictures were very good. Just too far for the lens.
