Laurie Flynn.....

...International Man of Mystery.

We met up with Laurie after Scouts tonight at the Cumberland Bar to posthumously celebrate chummeryken's 65th birthday.

It was a celebration and we were joined by Laurie's young chum from the San Francisco...Rosie.....charming young lady with an interest in 35mm SLRs...I gave her a Blipfoto card.

Laurie is a very dear family friend, the most charming man and a passionate hater of shysters. So much so that he's dedicated a major portion of his life to investigative journalism, with the World in Action programme, The Guardian and his expose of the De Beers monsters who'll stop at nothing to rip-off Namibia. He's a fascinating bloke and so positive about people, despite investigating some truly awful scum bags.
