Weed Power

On my way out with the dogs this morning I had to call in and drop something off at a friend’s place. The weather was appalling with driving rain and a howling rollicking south-east gale blowing. It was no day to be out and about walking dogs let alone trying to capture some images.
As I left my friend’s place I spotted this lovely verdant weed and a lonely colourful antirrhinum growing out of the footpath at the foot of a concrete power pole. I am amazed at times how some plants can grow and flourish in the most adverse of conditions.
As quick as a flash I pulled my camera out from under my raincoat and captured my blip for today.
