SHEPHERDS HUT WITH CORBELLED ROOF

drystone wall exhibit at shbden park.....This is a copy of a shepherds hut which was a rough shelter for shepherds in yorkshire. seeminly two can be found on the scree side of the three peaks. it has no supporting timbers,the roof is made from corbelled stone. there is around 50 tons of stone used to build it
