Emily and Grace

Damp weather today no doubt because I had my car cleaned yesterday so off for a hard path walk round Shinewater Lake. It's not the most exciting walk and the views of the Downs were hidden by the mist. We met a 16 week puppy who was nervous of everything which made me realise how bolshy mine are. No fear of horses, bicycles, buggies, big dogs, noises. I might get fed up with the incessant barking at things-that-might-be-invaders on tv but I think attitude is easier to deal with than fear.

We are going to try a new dog food to see if we can lose the post dinner craziness. After dinner is always a manic time for the pups. Having forgotten to buy kibble yesterday, they had rice and chicken for tea and we had the quietest evening since they arrived to live with us. Here's hoping for a little bit of peace tonight!
