Metro

The strange orange glow of the Helsinki metro. This is my friend Martina; she kept taking photos of me so I tried to get my own back! I must get a picture of the Kaisaniemi metro station, it looks like something from Star Wars!

The sun has abandoned the North of the country now; the newspaper this morning, instead of writing the sunrise and sunset time for the town of Utsjoki on the Norwegian border, simply wrote: The next time the sun will rise will be January 16th 2014.

Glad to be in Helsinki!
