Norton Racers

Whilst celebrating the life of a departed friend with some work mates today, we retired to a pub nearby for a pint or two four, and i saw this photo on the wall. It was taken in June 1955 at Pendine Sands West Wales. It shows FJ Wheeler & Dennis Egan racing a pair of Norton racers, I wonder what became of these gentleman racers? Racing bikes are so different today.
