Toward St. Peter's Pool and Deer Sound

The grey was horizon to horizon today, as you can tell here. I still enjoyed my walk in Deerness, though. I went from Lighthouses Corner down to Barns of Ayre, along to Point of Ayre, then back along the shore path of Newark Bay to Geo, then the road to Dingieshowe where I got the bus back to Kirkwall. Birds included a jack snipe, snow buntings, sanderlings, purple sandpipers, ringed plovers etc.
