Helvella lacunosa

I have never seen one of these in the flesh before. Mikewithmg blipped one the other day and I didn't expect that I would be lucky enough to catch one.
RSPB Conway today. Little Egrets, Curlews, Snipe and a rather timid bird that could have been a Lapland Bunting. It was on the river regrowth.
