To Get Planting

I resolved, in the Autumn, due to a dearth of damsons, to do something about it.

I went on the hunt for a damson tree today.

I was unsuccessful in the hunt but I did get a greengage tree instead.

So here you see the greengage tree being planted with the able assistance of my friend chirpie. The variety is called "Old Greengage" which is original.

I have had to order a damson tree and delivery of this is awaited.
