The East End
I so wish I had more time to explore this enigmatic place. So much beauty and drama to take in! Chillingly rough neighborhoods revived by new developments; unforgiving steel urban geometry softened only by the natural meanders of the Thames... What attracted me the most were the countless dilapidated warehouses and brick factories scattered along the quayside. The mighty dock cranes soaring high, as if to protect the whole landscape from change...
I just have to go back and indulge. Next time I'll have the tripod and the wide angle Tokina lens (which arrived today, early X-mas it is). This is what I could snap for the limited time available.
