Sunset silhouette

There was a beautiful sunset over Edinburgh this evening. I was delighted when I got home tonight and Mr hazelh told me that he had captured it for me while I was at work.

Meanwhile my day ran like this:

07:30-08:30 walk to work
08:30 -09:00 prep for meeting
09:00-10:00 PhD supervision
10:00-12:00 teaching
12:00-13:00 lunchtime meeting
13:00-15:00 teaching
15:00-16:45 final year project supervisions
16:45-17:15 meeting

Normally I would have stayed late to clear the e-mail that built up during the day (adding to the pile that gathered yesterday when I was interviewing PhD candidates from 09:00-16:00), but I had a date with a friend. So, instead, I escaped to the cinema to see Philomena, which I enjoyed very much.

Exercise today - walk to work (1 hour), half walk home from cinema (30 minutes).
