Tonight was an abject lesson in not understanding my camera, in that I tried to take slow shots of a moving object with only a monopod. All around me were smartiepants with bloody great tripods, and cameras and lenses of greater complexity than mine.
The best shots I took were poor, so these are a selection of the worst of a bad bunch, but colourful nonetheless, and I did try lots of different "P" mode settings.
Don't really like taking photos in public in case I'm seen to be doing it wrong.
BTW, that thing is 60 metres tall! Aaaaagh!
