a lot of fascination for one of our new bikes. We asked for bikes with gears - this is unheard of here and we have succeeded well partially as we have one of them. I am getting mine on Saturday. It is an attempt to keep our legs bike fit for our cycling when we are in France. Also a great way to get around easily here well early in the morning before it gets too hot... Mr Jolly owns the bike shop and they could build a bike from scrap metal I reckon. Some of them look as though they have been. He is jolly although I think that his work is rather like the ferry man he can't leave till there is someone to take his place and at the moment there is no one... We love him
