Sunshine on Norlan

A wild and blustery day. Torrential showers of rain and hail, gusting winds, and just occasionally a glimpse of the sun (that never rises very far above the horizon at this time of year).

One of the sunny interludes coincided with me being on the pier in Lerwick and the arrival of the fishing boat Norlan.

A joining crew member did comment that the boat would look rather better with a fresh coat of paint - he might be right, but I was happy to get a blip in bright sunshine and get back to the car without getting wet.
