Hello...hello....hello - Dickensian Evening!

Back to Tavistock again tonight for the annual Dickensian Evening when the Christmas lights are switched on. Most of the traders and shop assistants dress up and there is a bit of a party spirit in the main street with what seems like zillions of people. Roast chestnuts and mulled wine. A couple old fairground rides. Have a look on Flickr to see a little bit more.

Once again I was pushing my little camera to take these but what would I get as an alternative - Bridge or dslr? - Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Sony or Fuji? I have been looking but it is not an easy decision and it will probably be obsolete in 3 months - doh!
