Walking the walls

Really cold & windy today so just a quick trip into town (5 minutes walk along the canal) to get some food shopping. I made a detour along the walls, Chester is a walled city, this part goes past the cathedral and right over the main street where the Eastgate clock (just in view at the back of the picture) is, I stood and looked down on all the "happy" shoppers and Christmas lights,
too cold to hang about though.
