Book Launch

A wild and wet day with a stooer of wind!

Another quiet day in the Shetland Museum but more photos worked with for the photo archive. I've uploaded 305 photos today :)

Spent the evening at a book launch in the Scalloway Museum. Amy Lightfoot on the left and the wonderful Laurie Goodlad on right who I have the pleasure to work with in the museum. Their book is called Traditional Riddles from Shetland: A book of Guddicks. A guddick is a old Shetland dialect riddle, and can sound very rude to the dirty minded lol. Great to have the old riddles saved in a book forever before they are forgotten and lost. I gave a few for the book too. Also wine and nibbles and you might notice the traditional musicians in the background, great night and thanks again for the invite.
