Carole took Pat and I along to a line dancing fundraiser for SSAFA in Bury Town Hall this evening. It was packed and they raised well over £800 for a great cause. Pat is an old hand at line dancing and she was up and off. Carole was on raffle ticket duty, but she did do a few dances. I did a lot of people watching and won a box of biscuits on the raffle. I love the way most line dancers just seem to move with complete indifference. There were some great characters and some great outfits. One guy had a fabulous shirt on that he bought in Texas. I didn't have to go that far for mine...it came from Tesco!

Ron is 80 and he is one of the volunteers for SSAFA, he was very happy to pose in his daughters hat. He fancied himself as JR Ewing.
