The afternoon sun drops below the buildings of Perth.

I cut the grass for (I hope) the last time this year. The back lawn looks tidy for the winter; the front still looks sadly burnt from using the wrong make of autumn fertiliser in the spreader. I think we'll be stuck with that until it starts to grow next spring.

I saw Su Grierson's exhibition at Perth Concert Hall. I heard her talk a couple of weeks ago, mainly about her visit to Fukushima province. She seemed very done to earth and her talk was very interesting, so I was surprised to find her art and her descriptions of it quite a struggle. I guess I'm just not on the right wavelength.
