But, then again . . . . .

Jumping for........

................ a stick.

Mrs Molly (aka Mrs Chess) is a little incapacitated at present which gives us a few more dogs to walk. Molly is what is known as a bit lively - and here she is proving it. Mrs TD was merely trying to throw the stick and not trying to elicit this behaviour.
The exercise earned us a cup of coffee, a biscuit and a pleasant chat.

We were walking along the old (ex) railway line near the remains of the Roslin Castle station, it runs above the ruins of Messrs Hay and Merrick's gunpowder mill (later "Nobel Explosives" of the Nobel prizes fame). A little further along the path there used to be the famous Tin Tunnel that prevented sparks from the steam locos creating problems in the factory below. Along with most of the industry in The Glen, the company ceased production sixty years ago having traded for 150 years.

My apologies for being behind with my postings (this is Monday's blip and it is now ten past yesterday on Saturday morning); it’s been a busy week, arranging the New Year cinema programme and dealing with the approaching meeting with the cooncil over road safety in the area.
