It was a pleasure to attend the 70th birthday party of our very dear friend, Irene down in the Megalong Valley. I undertook to "cover" the event, something I hadn't done in ages. It IS like riding a bike however and things soon settled into a routine. Nonetheless it was the first time I had entrusted such a task to the OMD. I needn't have worried. The little machine behaved like a duck to water and in my view the EM-5 is just about the perfect tool for such a job as this. Small, unobtrusive and fast.

This little person is Irene's great grandchild. Isn't she a cherub?
