A good day for learning things

Isabel and Rose drinking from straws. Thought Rose had a look of happy contentment in this shot. Today was the first time I saw her took more than three steps in a row so I'm going to say it's the first day she walked. It was lovely, in Nana and Grandad's house. She did it a few times to an appreciative audience. Then she repeated later for her dad. More applause.

Earlier in the day Jo and I went to the cemetery office to choose the words for Martin's plaque. That was hard for Jo. Think we got there. Adjective choosing is tough! Admired, Cherished, Beloved...he was all of those. Brilliant Martin.

Thought about Man U a bit today too and the glory years of the 90's. That made me think about Martin too. Breakfast TV had a very sweet int with Beckham that every woman in the land would have loved but would have made Martin roll his eyes. Happy 40th Ryan Giggs.
