Caught in passing

Traveling through the Lewis pass route towards Christchurch today, most of the landscape was obscured by mist and rain. On the eastern side of the Pass the weather gradually cleared and I got this view of a braided stream and the broom covered hillsides through the window of our van. It wasn't a very marvelous photo but Snapseed's HDR has helped a bit.
