The generation gap

The original plan for today was to leave Hertfordshire, drive back to Cumbria, and tomorrow, for Gail and I to drive back to Birmingham for the good food show - but after due consideration, Gail's getting the train tomorrow, and I had time to take a walk around my old home town before driving up to the midlands to see some great friends - had a wonderful time too!
