Chilly night

Today the Christmas lights were turned on by Father Christmas.
Though you can't see him, he and his helpers were just arriving in the harbour, on the other side of the Castle...in Guernsey he arrives courtesy of the lifeboat!
The lights came on right on time so it is now officially the run up to Christmas.
Rather than take a picture of a crowd of people and the lights I chose this view. The lights ceremony was nice but pics did not really do it justice...you need to be there with all the children with their balloons, flashing wands etc.
