We had a late walk today on the beach today. The light was beautiful after the rather gloomy day yesterday.

As usual, being a weekend, we met a number of other dogwalkers, much to Poppy's delight. As soon as we got out of the car we were greeted by a very lively Lurcher/Lab cross and his mate another Lab. All 4 dogs had a good chase down to the water's edge and into the sea. " My goodness you've got a fast dog there" I commented to the owner as the Lurcher cross wizzed past me with the other 3 in hot pursuit. "Yes, he's good for an 11 year old", was the reply!
