A sunny, cold day in Berlin. Took in sights like the wall, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the TV Tower and the DDR Museum. This was the Holocaust Memorial, which was very moving.

In the evening we went to O2 World in the hope of cadging tickets to see Depeche Mode from a tout..... no luck:( But instead we sought out Das Gift, a bar where a friend of R's has done a mural on the wall (if you know Nice n Sleazy's in Glasgow you'll have seen her work). It was a great little pub and they were doing a pub quiz in English which we did very respectably in considering there were only two of us in our team and the other teams were massive.
