Park Run

I did my first park run today. It was over at Admirals park in the city centre. Apparently they take place all over the country every Saturday morning. It's Only 5k but that was enough for me. Although I was shattered at the end I really enjoyed it. I've only ever run 5k when I've done race for life. My time has never been great. Today I thought it was really good for me. I'm going to try and go every week. My problem is getting back in time to go to work.

I was told today that Chelmsford is meant to be holding a marathon race next year. I won't be running in it but it will be great to go and see an event like that in our home town.

Work was work. Coming to the end of our term and trying to get assessments done gets a bit fraught at times.
