Scouts' Christmas fair

This morning we went to the castle bailey where there is a big Christmas market and fair for the next few week ends and I took lots of quite reasonable pictures with my camera.

This afternoon it was Alex's scout group's Christmas fair which was much more fun in an old fashioned homely way. I forgot to take my camera to it - so iPhone it is...
Alex is to the right in a Santa hat bending over his fund raising activity...
You had to try to get a 2p piece completely over a £1 coin at the bottom of a fish tank full of water (reminiscent of those coin machines in seaside arcades) - practically impossible as you can never tell how the coin will move in the water! (I did have a few goes!)
I also found some good stocking fillers and won a small toy mouse in a tombolo type stall, which will do for Myki's Christmas present (I shall open it and poke some catnip in and stitch it up again!)

I shall go to the castle market another day to blip.
