Breakfast

When G worked full time in school, she and her friend Jayne went to their local McDonalds every Thursday morning to have breakfast. I've been pestering her for ages to take me - never having had a McDonald's breakfast, so today - after dropping her car off for its service, I finally experienced this. It was . . . ok!

We heard this popping going on in a room and realised balloons from a birthday the night before were being killed, so G went to see if they could be thrown her way. The lady was horrified and said "NO! I'll do you a special one and put it on a stick!" So here it is - G with her newly made up balloon and other McDonald's paraphernalia. Don't miss the UAE flag in the back. Called in at the Volvo garage straight after this (it's nearby) and discovered that Jerome has been quietly working on getting the parts I need for my car! What a STAR!

For the rest of the morning - it's best to see Gs blip. Did a few hours of ironing in the evening so I can have a completely FREE day off tomorrow! Yipee! AND the living room curtains have been done today. Ready for Christmas decorations to go up for the first time in this flat.

Oh, and the pharmacist was right. EXCELLENT cough syrup. It's working wonderfully; thank you for so many kind comments. It's been an AMAZING day. So many things falling into place.
