Thick as two planks

The repair job on the house next door has begun and our friend Ruth should have been back in last weekend.
But no.!!!!!! Let's hope christmas is a day to look forward to.
I won't give any names but the company doing the work are a bunch of cowboys
I have never seen a bunch of people who can spend all day doing nothing and accomplishing nothing. Then to add insult to injury they have put on the wrong size of battons, the nicely primed pink battons were the wrong thickness meaning the whole house had to be re-battoned with unprimed wood. This process has taken a ridicously long times- in fact the whole job has been a waste of space!! And it costs insurance thousands - no wonder our premiums are high. Luck of the draw as to the workmanship you get!
