11th Street Diner / Miami South Beach

After managing to only fall into bed at 8.30pm after a 23 hour day, we woke up around 6.30am which wasn't so bad. Headed out for breakfast at the 11th Street Diner which was pretty good, although the kids were not too keen on the American pancakes - "we want the flat ones, your ones Mama", something every mother likes to hear.

We then spent the day by the pool with Lilli diving for goggles pretty much non-stop and both having a great time. The beach is just what I remembered - great water quality, nice and warm, white beach. Quite a mixed day weather wise with lots of clouds and the occasional rain, but still 30 degrees and the whole family managed to get sunburned of course. Dinner at Jerrys Famous Deli - no wonder the Americans are obese, what are those portion sizes about? Crazy.
