Donuts

Today we have a guest blipper in the form of my husband, who not only handled kid duty on his own for half of Saturday so that I could meet up with an old friend, but even snapped a few photos of their adventures. They went out for donuts this morning, and then upon their return to the house, the kids set up their own "donut shop", complete with made-to-order Play-doh pastries.

This afternoon, I took A to see the 3D movie "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" while the boys in the fam visited a sporting goods store, and then we all met back up at home to enjoy dinner together and to watch the kids ride bikes on the school playground. All in all, a pretty perfect Saturday!
