The ruins

of Moreton Corbet Castle on my way home from Shrewsbury this afternoon after a few hours of C shopping. After the rigours of the hustle and bustle in the shops it was nice to have a walk in the peace and quiet of these lovely ruins. The sun was huge behind me which backlit the castle nicely and as the sun dipped the sky turned into a riot of colours of blood orange, crimson and purple chiffon and pink macaroons. Dreamy, but back in the real world now, shopping to unpack, dinner to cook and finally, relax.
