Lake Hood Rowing

11am picked up a couple of friends and headed off for our ladies day out.
First stop the shoe shop at Temuka and suprise suprise we were very restrained and left the shop enjoying the view but keeping our wallets in our pockets.
Then up the road to Ashburton, with a lot of chatter and laughter we arrived at Lake Hood for lunch. I had not been there before but my friends had.
After a pleasant lunch over looking the lake and waterways, we had a quick look at the rowing and headed back towards Timaru.
More shopping and coffee on the way home.
After dropping off friends it was a quick run to supermarket
Home again and wait for the family to come in to celatrate my grand daughters 16 birthday
