Today wasn't my day travel wise. I went to Portsmouth/Southsea and back twice. 45 minutes to move one junction on the way into work, a slightly shorter delay for an accident on the way home and then a detour through the "delights" of Portsmouth due to a closed M275 when I really wanted to get home to my bed. Either I'm the jinx or someone had it in for me.

I didn't care though as we FINALLY received the news we've been waiting for. Slightly anticlimactic at first. I don't think I'll believe it's finally over until we've received the final bill. It didn't help that we were in a rush to get to the theatre for a school production of Mack and Mabel (We didn't have budgets like that for any school production I ever did!). The news finally sunk in as we celebrated modestly over a post-theatre Japanese.

With the delays and the adrenaline it was a very late night. I'm not looking forward to the 6am alarm tomorrow. But I don't care :-D.
