Father Christmas at Newbury Xmas Market

Newbury Xmas Market opened today - a satisfying melee of chalet stalls, beer tent, gluwein, fair rides, big wheel, Father Christmas, donkeys, reindeer, brass band and people milling.

Later, on the way home we stumbled across the big Father Christmas and Xmas lights switch on parade. There was a real fire engine in the parade along with police horses and sleigh with FC pulled by a large horse. The fire engine was definitely the highlight for little C, along with the whizzy light up windmill that we bought him!

A great start to the festive season and it's advent tomorrow.
