grabbed lunch at avila's in dallas - delicious tex-mex. caught up on things, it's been nearly a year since we've been in the same place. she's in for thanksgiving, and should be back for christmas, so i'm sure we'll see her again here soon.

made the long drive back to austin where late afternoon dragged into evening. should be 3 hours, took me about 4.5 this time. I-35 seems to get worse every month.
