Glitterball

It's December! Hurrah!

I give you Glitterball to get you into the festive spirit.

Barcelona's many fabulous tapas bars are just outstanding. We have spent so much time just mooching around and falling in and out of them. Rather splendid really and just what I needed after some über hectic months.

Our current favourite is Alcoba Azeul, perfectly positioned just round from our hotel and in the shadow of the glorious Cathedral. Mad jazz music, mad staff, crafted and ancient bar, superb choice of Tapas and drinks with extremely liberal spirits in the cocktails.

As it should be.

The news from home and Glasgow is grim. A fabulous city with real heart. I've walked those streets and on another day that could have been me. Fragile we are. Peace on that city this day.
