Noosa National Park

Got some strange looks this morning when people saw Morag and I in the same bed!! We were up at 9, Morag gave me the 'pinch, punch, first of the month'! Slyly left without them catching me out. We went across the road to a little cafe and got some breakfast. Had a banana smoothie and a croissant. Text Duncan to see what he was up too. Max and him had just been surfing. We headed to the bus station to check times to Eumundi. Didn't have any running. Gave Dunc a call and we organised a time to meet. Headed to the beach. No surfing today!! Morag is scared of sharks. However...we saw in the newspaper that north of Sydney there was a shark attack and a 19 year old boy died. So, not going to lie, I don't want to swim too far out!! Factor 50 sun cream is an absolute nightmare. It doesn't rub in at all and when I was sitting on the beach looking whiter because of the sun cream then normal and then all the sand that was swept up by the wind would then stick to me! Went for a little swim. It was funny as Morag got a text from Nick asking if we wanted to join and she replied saying that we were off on the walk through the national park. We then saw him lying on the beach not that far from us!! Got her to send another text and to see how fast he would pick up the phone to then reply. He didn't pick it up! Haha. We walked for a good hour and a half along the coast. It was a really nice walk and super warm. We saw a koala along the way and some strange big parrots that looked quite vicious!! It was so windy when we got to 'hell's gates'. Got some cool pictures before turning back. We met Nick with a girl from Sweden when walking back. Feet were so sore from my flip flops. We all went to get a ice-cream. Showed them all the way which was funny. I had rocha with hot Nutella sauce...so good! We said our goodbyes before walking to Nomads to meet the Sayers there. It was really nice, we had takeaway pizza by the side of the river. When we got back, Morag fell asleep on her bed straight away. I had a quick shower and prepared for tomorrow morning!
