The Winter Witch

Our local woodland Christmas Fayre was the place to be today. We enjoyed roasted chestnuts, local honey and catching up with an old neighbour who sells her chutneys and jams. There was plenty to do and lots of festive things to buy, all handmade and crafty. Last bits and bobs bought for xmas gifts.

Oliver visited the Winter Witch who gave him a bag of bird seed to help her look after the birds in the coldest months and as way of thank you, a bag of sweets.

He also made a natural bird feeder out of a piece of branch with different sized holes drilled into it and mixed up nuts and seeds with fat and then filled the holes up with the mixture. He's going to hang it in his nanan's garden.
