Weir

Today's walk was so short I only took a couple of pics.

It's been so overcast and even the water cascading over the weir seemed to have lost it's liveliness. Colour looked as unpromising as the day so decided to go for a black and white image with a hint of cross processing.

I've spent the day not concluding anything. The more I'm put under pressure the less likely I am to get anything done!

On the upside, the back window fell out of my mother's car yesterday. I've been in conversation with the insurance company a number of times throughout the day. Well, Avia have completely restored my faith in customer services and insurance companies. At 9am Mum was severely out of pocket. I made only one call, the agent kept me updated regularly and by 5pm I had news that all the money would be in her bank by Monday. The icing on the cake, a cheque for £30 will be sent to her in compensation for the upset and bother, which I didn't request. So something today turned out to be brilliant!
