... gives these fruit. (I have no inclination at all to try their edibility, though. They're hard and woody. I may try to grow some of these trees from their seeds, though...)

I found them on the lawn under the tree while sweeping up leaves. Tons of leaves. It is the time of year when the garden falls into a state of neglect and disrepair. However, not this year. I am trying to keep up with things as I discover that as the garden matures, it tends to overgrow and blur every manmade structure...
